The course will give the attendee both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in using our pressure transducer, including taking pressure and fluid measurements, the course covers working on both Petrol and Diesel engines.

  • Kit content and making connection
  • Understanding pressure waveforms
  • Working with Fluids
  • Practical hands on demonstrations and
    real life uses

Prerequisites:
We recommend that delegates are familiar with general scope usage and/or have attended our Step 2 or 3 training course
Delegates should bring with them their own laptop with PicoScope software installed along with their PicoScope diagnostic kit if you have one, but not essential

Attainment:
On successful completion of our Step 5 course delegates will be able to:

  • Know when to use a pressure transducer to speed up the diagnostic process and ensure a good fix
  • Make connections using the pressure transducer
  • Capture data and analyse these waveforms
  • Learn what to look out for when identifying issues
  • Delegates will all receive a PicoScope 32 page Step 4 workbook including a detailed reference guide to WPS500X pressure diagnostics.
